Default ATI 5870+ WIN 7 FREEZING DURING FIRST TEST
HI EVERY ONE I HAVE UPGRADE MY ASUS 4870 TO 5870 BUT I HAVE SAME
PROBLEMS WITH 3DMARK VANTAGE IT STOPS SAME TIMES WITH BROWN SCREEN AND SAYSDisplay driver stopped responding, but has successfully recovered
THIS HAPPENS ONLY IN 3DMARK VANTAGE NOT IN GAMES

2 WHEN I FINISH SUCCSESFULL MY SCORES ARE
FIRST TIME 16300 (ATI BETA DRIVERS)
SECOND TIME 14100 (ATI BETA DRIVERS)
THIRD TIME 15400 (ASUS DRIVERS)
FOURTH TIME 14600 (ASUS DRIVERS)

REINSTALL WINDOWS 7 7600 BETA
INSTALL OFFICIAL LAST DRVERS FROM ATI
MY 3DMARK STOPS WITH Display driver stopped responding, but has successfully recovered
INSTALL DirectX End-User Runtimes Web Installer STOPS AGAIN
RESTAR MY PC AND FOR THREE TIMES IT DIDN'T STOP
WITHOUT CLOSE 3DMARK VANTAGE
FIRST TIME 16100
SECOND TIME 16200 CPU IN (TURBO MODE 3%)
THIRD TIME WITH OC
GPU @ 960
,MEMORY @ 1260
VOLTAGE NO CHANGE
CPU TURBO MODE 5%
17300 POINTS
MY SYSTEM IS
MOBO P6T DELUXE
CPU CORE I7 920
PSU COLLERMASTER ULTIMATE 900 WATT
RAM KINGSTON 3GB @ 1333MHZ
VGA ASUS ATI 5870
HDD VELOCIRAPTOR 150 GB
WHAT YOU THING IS MY VGA OK OR NOT

I AM PLAYING CRYSIS WARHEAD
ENTHUSIAST 2AA RESULUTION 1600 1050 @35 FPS

PLEASE HELP ME I AM CONFUSE WITH PERFORMANCE OF 5870

Man those Caps Lock are awful.

Try running driver sweeper and do it in safe mode. You may want to overclock your cpu to let the card breathe a bit more. Don't forget your motherboard drivers aka chipset drivers.

And get the full Vantage and not the one with the patch also.

Also check to see if you have v-sync enabled if you do disable it.

but i dont now where to disable vsync
and i have download the last from asus and install
please can you tell me where to disable vsync

hello for moment i dont have make changes i have install
3d mark 06
unigine engine
crysis benchmark
for a test

test 3dmar06 finish successful 2 times
unigine engine finish successful only in direcx 9
in direcx 10 and 11 unsuccessful it stopped

run crysis benchmark in direcx 9 successful
in direcx 10 stopped

please tell me this is a issue from my graphic card or from my system
for moment i dont care about scores

You mentioned asus. Is your ati card branded by asus? If so go here and get the drivers and don't use asus's drivers.

but i have install the ati drivers
with ati drivers i have make the test
MY PROBLEM IS
i cant run test with direcx 10 and 11
but i can play games with dx 10 without problem

From what I can understand from your posts, this sounds like a hardware problem, but I can't tell from the symptoms what causes it - could be driver issue, could be power supply issue, video card issue or even motherboard issue. Kinda hard to troubleshoot hardware-related issues over a web forum - sorry.

may be i have solved my issue
i have upgrade my bios 1504 @ 1701 p6t deluxe
i have run 3dmark 5 times until now without problem
i will make same other test to be sure

leave the Caps lock Now
the problem turn again after 5 times successful of 3d mark vantage
any one have a Suggestion for me how to fix this f"""k TDR problem?
