The MS-DOS classic, Terra Nova: Strike Force Centauri.
The name always fascinated me for some reason...

Re: Where does your e-handle come from?
I got mine when I was about 11, when I first logged online.
I was always small for my age, and my initials were JP, so my friend figured, oh, what the heck, use LittleJP

Re: Where does your e-handle come from?
I got mine from a game called "Zybex" on the Atari 65XE. The high score table only allowed 3 letters, and ZED was the default for place #1.
Obviously ZED is quite a popular name, so I added 1138 from the movie THX1138.

Re: Where does your e-handle come from?
I'm Panther.
Living in Florida/USA I have had the pleasure of one day being real close to a Florida Panther.
It was a shimmering blackish color, extreemly muscle built and just awesome. Definately an animal to respect for it's prowlness, speed, cunning and just a beautiful animal. Not many people have had the opportunity to see one in the wild as I did. I was driving near my home and there it was going down a side street. I live near Tampa and most are further south of here. But, wow, he or she didn't even filnch when I came apon it. It stopped, turned it's head, started me down with it's piercing eyes, turned it's head back the other way, walked slowly as I creaped up closer for a good look and then the power showed. It's did a leap towards the empty field, ran in an amazing ability, turned again to look at me (paused), gave me a cool feeling glance and zoom... off it went. Wish I had a camera with me.
Panther... What an animal!

Re: Where does your e-handle come from?
My handle started way back when Starcraft first came out. I was trying to set up an account for Battle.net and all the names I was typing in were already taken, so I hit a bunch of random keys, hit enter and it worked. Those random letters happened to be 5r22.

Re: Where does your e-handle come from?
erm, I don't think you'd get it unless you are from NW England.
People from Liverpool (Scousers) call people from surrounding towns like St.Helens and Wigan "wooly-backs".
I was born in Liverpool but moved to Wigan when I was a toddler. Most of my family are 'scousers' so I was often getting called a wooly-back.
I just added jack to the end as wooly-back-David doesn't quite have the same ring to it :)
