Creating a little buzz this afternoon, Ubisoft has announced that the next installment in the Prince of Persia franchise is well into development at their Montreal studio and will be hitting stores towards the end of 2008. According to the official press release, we can expect a new breed of gameplay which will "rejuvenate the action-adventure genre in addition to introducing a brand-new illustrative art style." No other details were revealed, but with the release date quickly approaching, I'm sure we'll be hearing more about the game very soon. ;)
