According to legal documents obtained by the Courthouse News Service today, a class action lawsuit has been filed against game publisher Electronic Arts over the DRM technology (SecuROM) used in their recently-released evolution title Spore. The suit claims that consumers were not told that a "second, separate program" would be installed alongside Spore, and that the DRM installs directly to your PC's command and control center "preventing the computer from operating under certain circumstances and/or disrupting hardware operations."
