Keeping the good news coming this afternoon, Sega has confirmed that Creative Assembly's upcoming history-based strategy title, Empire: Total War, will begin shipping to stores worldwide on March 4th. In addition to this juicy bit of info, they've also released some official minimum system requirements. What kind of setup will you need to run the game? Read on:
- Operating System: Windows XP 32(service pack 2), Windows Vista 32 OS.
- Processor: 2.4 GHz Single Core Intel or AMD equivalent processor.
- System Memory: 1GB RAM (XP) 2GB RAM (Vista).
- Graphics Card: 256MB DirectX 9.0c compatible video card (shader 2.0 or higher).
- Sound Card: Directx9.0c compatible sound card.
- Windows compatible mouse & keyboard.
- 15 GB free uncompressed hard drive space.
They also note that both the retail and digital download editions of the game will require activation via Steam. So please keep that in mind when launch day comes. :D
