Pinning down an exact release date for us their afternoon, NCsoft has announced that their upcoming massively multiplayer online RPG, Aion: The Tower of Eternity, will begin shipping to stores across North America on September 22nd and Europe on September 25th. For those of us who are too lazy to drive to the store, the game will also be available through digital distribution outlets like NCsoft.com, Direct2Drive and Steam. ;)
Also, the announcement reminds us that if you pre-order the game through participating retailers, you'll be invited to the closed beta and get a head start on the launch. So don't miss out!
