I'm thinking of buying this but was curious about this "Enhanced Edition".

Steam site says:
"The Package - The Witcher: Enhanced Edition is more than just a better version of last year's RPG of the Year. The premium packaging would usually infer some sort of Collector's Edition... but at the price of a regular game, it's simply a great value. In your download you'll also get: Multilingual game disc, D'jinni Adventure Editor, Two new adventures offering 5+ hours of gameplay, Official Soundtrack, Music Inspired by The Witcher album, Making-of videos, Official game guide, Map of The Witcher's world"

Will the official soundtrack be a ISO file I burn to CD? Or will it be MP3's? I really hope it's an ISO. And what about the map? Do I download a jpg file and print it out? ROFL

Currently downloading it off Steam now but it's 14GB in size... so it'll be a while before I can check for you

All downloaded now - the extras (that aren't part of the game itself, i.e. the new adventures) are in the following location once downloaded:

\Steam\steamapps\common\the witcher enhanced edition
  • "Making of" movies are wmv formats
  • Soundtracks (2 in total) are mp3s
  • Map is a large JPEG
  • Game guide is a PDF file

I purchased, downloaded and played the game a little. Anyone else not happy with performance? I remember playing the demo like 1.5 years ago on my 8800GT and Opty 165, and now with my new setup (Q9550, 4870, 4GB RAM) performance seems the same?

The Enchanced Edition has greatly improved visuals. I think the requirements went up with those...
