After a whirlwind of rumors and speculation today, the folks over at Activision have now confirmed the development of a new Solider of Fortune game.

In a statement to Kotaku.com, an Activision representative reveals that their Minneapolis offices will be publishing Soldier of Fortune: Pay Back. No other details are available at this time, but we can expect to hear more "very soon".

Also, word around the water cooler is that the game is NOT being developed by Raven Software. We'll keep you posted on any new info that pops up! ;)
