So you've completed Titan Quest or are still playing through the original and are begging for a new lease of life for this game to feed your RPG needs? It's time to return to the ancient world, as we look at the first expansion pack: Immortal Throne

A lot of people not used to the RPG term of Expansion will say "Well that instantly means new maps and giving new life into the game surely?" Well, yes and no! Unlike some packs (let's take, for example, FireStorm for C&C’s Tiberian Sun), you can instantly start on the newer levels to give you a new taste to your current experience, but to experience the new levels that Immortal Throne offers you, the original game has to be completed first. So what about current gamers still making their way through the Titan Quest game? To be honest, I feel you have had the better deal of the bargain!

The main game has now been revamped to how it should have been when it was released in my opinion. Immortal Throne brings lots of new toys: not only do you now have more side quests to make the longevity better, but there is now a brand new Mastery Skill called Dream to work towards. An even more interesting aspect though is caravans; these allow you to store your items and pick them up later on at other Caravan locations. Sounds great huh?

The local inhabitants will still cause you trouble...
...but nothing a good sword in the face won't cure.

Well it gets even better - how would you like to transfer items between multiple characters if you have them? Yep you heard right, you can pass things between characters too! If you don't have more than one character, then this may be useless, but for multiple character owners, this is a godsend! Finally there are Enchanters, which allow you to combine materials that you collect through your journeys from monsters or chests, place them on an altar and combine them to create a new artefact. While this sounds like fun, you’ll have to get hunting for the rare materials that can be combined, as they are most definitely rare.
